Outstanding tin litho "Newlywed Parlor" room manufactured by Louis Marx & Co., in excellent+ to near mint condition. Complete with all six original pieces of furniture. Also complete with intact original box which is also in excellent+ to near mint condition.

Toy consists of tin litho room decorated in art deco style. Includes three walls, attached floor, and die cut windows. No front wall or ceiling gives it a three dimensional diorama perspective. Back side is dark gray. Maroon parlor with glowing fireplace and mantle piece, and double doors and tapestry on side walls.

Separate tin litho metal furniture includes heart-back sofa, three "cushioned" arm chairs, oak center table, and side-board style radio.

The box was extensively illustrated with the parlor room, centered, on every panel. Portraits of 10 children flank the parlor on both sides. End flaps include manufacturer name, address, toy name and catalog number.
